Hi,

Did you uninstall the old driver and then reinstall the new driver?

Did you reboot the PC?

yes, I uninstall the previous one first, installed the new one and then reboot the pc

I would think a problem with the wifi module which you can replace.

Let's see if Expert @Paul_Tikkanen would have any suggestions in this case.

Hi, @Mukesh_Negi504

I agree with Iomare that the wifi card in there now is probably defective and needs to be replaced.

But before you replace the card, first try removing and firmly reseating the current card.

Sometimes the contacts get oxidized, and the electrical connection is interrupted.  Thus the card disappears from the device manager.

Try and leave the antenna cable connected to the card to facilitate an easier and faster reinstall.

Looking at the service manual for your notebook, it still has the older HMC design, and the part number for the card you have shows only one antenna connection.  See the photographs below.  These show the front and back sides of the wifi card.

So, what that means is...there are no better HMC cards where both the wifi and Bluetooth will work when you only have one antenna cable going to it.

You will have to replace the Reatek wifi card with the same part number if reseating the card doesn't resolve the problem.

Here is the link to the service manual.  The wifi card R & R procedure can be found in chapter 6.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04409502

Now this is important...the service manual shows that there may be a spare antenna in there not connected to anything.

If there is let me know, because that changes everything, and you can upgrade to a better dual band AC wifi card.
