@Sky_012, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Wi-Fi Connection with mobile!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand that your HP 550 laptop shows that Wi-Fi is disabled and isn’t searching for any available networks — that can definitely be frustrating. Let’s work through this together and see if we can get your laptop connected.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

Turn Wi-Fi On:

  • Press the Function (Fn) key and the Wi-Fi (F12) key simultaneously. On some models, this key combination toggles the Wi-Fi on and off. If the Wi-Fi light turns white or blue, it means it's enabled.

Check Airplane Mode:

  • Open the Action Center (Windows key + A) and make sure Airplane Mode is turned off.

Update or Reinstall Wi-Fi Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager (press Windows key + X, then select Device Manager).
  • Expand Network Adapters and right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter.
  • Select Update driver and follow the prompts. If that doesn't help, you can try uninstalling the driver and restarting your laptop — Windows should reinstall the correct driver automatically.

Enable Wi-Fi from Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
  • If you see a "disabled" status, click on it and enable it.

Run the Network Troubleshooter:

  • Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters and select Internet Connections to let Windows diagnose and fix any issues.

Give these steps a try and let me know how it goes! If it’s still not working, we can explore more options together. 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
