Has anyone actually been able to resolve this problem? I have tried some of the solutions suggested, but nothing has worked. I spent an hour on the phone with an HP support agent, and he was clueless. I'm getting really frustrated. This happens several times a day and usually requires a restart.

The driver version and date are listed on the driver tab for the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter in the device manager.
The fact that Windows is reporting that the driver is up to date is not always accurate.
Check the driver version and date where I indicated you will find it.
The is the latest driver version and date HP has for the RTL8821CE 802.11ac Wi-Fi adapter:
Version 2024.10.230.1 10/11/2024

Thanks for this info. My driver version was 2024.10.228.9 date 12-7-23. I have installed the updated driver, and we'll see if that helps. Odd that even when I searched to see if there was a driver update, I was told no.

Sorry the latest driver didn't fix the problem.
I do not have any other ideas you can try.
Yes, if your notebook is under warranty, now is the time to submit a warranty support request.
You can use the HP Support assistant app to do that, or you can contact HP starting at the link below.
HP does not publish any support numbers publicly due to the large amount of fake support sites that claim to be HP customer support.

bro I had same disconnection problem and also error like device cannot start error code 10.
one day I found driver by dell so I installed manually in my hp 15s-ey2000au Rtl8821ce
Realtek-RTL8821CE-and-RTL8822CE-Wi-Fi-and-Bluetooth_WKGTJ_WIN_2024.10.142.0_A07.EXE , you need to manually extract and install driver using device manager. It did work for me let me know if it worked for you.

Realtek tried in driver 2024.10.230.0 to solve the disconnection problems, but apparently they failed.
I had an 8822ce card where I also had random disconnection.
Driver 2024.10.229.1 solved the problem for me.
I would also recommend updating the router at home if possible because I updated it and it helped too.
Still realtek has bluetooth issues I know with ps5 pads that randomly disconnect the 2.4 ghz network when I connect the controller wirelessly (not sure if this happens with ps4 too)

I used this driver, it is for other realtek 8822ce and 8821ce models if I remember correctly.
This driver was good, but for me it caused a blue screen when using the edge browser.
@AnnLD
Realtek tried in the 2024.10.230.0 driver to solve the disconnection problems, but apparently I was unsuccessful.

The 2024.10.229.1 driver solved the problem for me.
