Wi Fi driver reinstall

Envy 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The wifi has ceased to function and the wifi icon has dissappeared from task bar. I have carried out windows update and BIOS update and disabled and renabled the wifi connectivity as recommended elswhere on this forum. Next step is to uninstall & reinstall the drivers , my wifi is an Intel AC 3160. My query is, is that what I uninstall/reinstall ( I cannot find a driver for it on HP website} or is it the Realtek PCIe GBE family controller which is on the website. Thanks

Wi Fi driver reinstall

Hi:

If your notebook has an Intel 3160 wifi adapter, then you need to uninstall and reinstall the Intel 3160 device and driver in the device manager.

I would just reinstall with the latest 3160 wifi driver directly from Intel.
