The original poster looked to have the wrong driver for his version of Windows - he/she looks to have 2024.0.8.104 which is the 32bit version. You can install the 64bit version (2024.0.8.108) from the following Realtek site - it worked for me!

HP support helped me to solve the problem: they recomend me to install BIOS update from Software and Drivers download page on HP support site:
The BIOS update package:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95708.exe
This fixed the issue.
Thanks to HP support!

Just found this site. I had the same problem with my HP envy laptop new in January. After many conversations with Internet provider and store tech department to no avail, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I turned off anything that I thought might interfere with the wifi and then turned each back on one at a time. When I turned the Blue tooth back on the problem started up again. I turned it off and have not had a problem since. It appears that the blue tooth may be the culprit.

Hi @AliCLondon
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd suggest try updating the computer -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
If the issue still persists, test the hardware -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F2 once.
4) Go to Component test.
5) From the list, run the Wi-Fi module test.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
