I have an HP Laptop 15 dy2073dx (I don't know why HP says 15s-fq2000), and I have been having an issue with the WiFi card for a while (a few months after I got the laptop in 2023.)
The WiFi works fine on the laptop when it is connected, but when I disconnect from it or the WiFi drops, 80% of the time, the WiFi option disappears from the Quick Settings. Device Manager says the following:
This is fixed however, by a full computer restart. This is inconvenient though, because it happens a lot, and I do not want to have to reopen all of my apps all the time.

The only suggestion i can offer would be to update the Realtek 8821CE Wi-Fi driver to the latest version HP currently has:
2024.10.230.2

The 15 dy2073dx is a member of the entire 15s-fq2000 model series and basically share the same specs and design.
Several hundred different models as you can see from the link below.
