Hello!
I have a question about my laptop HP 15-db1017ur.
Unfortunately the internet speed is too low through WiFi because of the very old network hardware "Realtek RTL8723DE Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n PCI-E Network Adapter PCI".
I would like to buy the external Wi-Fi adapter to increase the internet speed for online gaming.
Wich one can you recommend for that?
UPD: I just read that almost all external WiFi adapters work unstable for online games:(((

Hi:
There is one dual band AC internal model Wi-Fi card you can upgrade to:
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.
You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.
I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

RTL8821CE - Buy RTL8821CE with free shipping on AliExpress
On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

Hi:
Unfortunately, I can't personally recommend any because the one I use is very old (dual band N) and works fine for me for everyday use.
Here's a link that may be of help to you...
