Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Intel Wi-Fi adapter 6 AX201 160MHz does not start on my TODAY bought and upackaged HP Envy x360.

In Device Manager, it is shown with the yellow warning icon.

In the Windows Event Viewer, I see a series of event with Source "Netwtw10" and ID 5002, 5005, 5011 and 8000 plus an event with source "NDIS" and ID 10317. 

I have already totally updated Windows. I have also updated all the drivers by using HP Support Assistance. Finally, I have tried to uninstall the wifi adapter and reinstall it taken from this HP support site for my registerd PC (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp107001-107500/sp107264.exe). Nothing helps.

I can only suppose that the WiFi adapter has a hardware issue.

How can I solve the problem?

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to see if installing the latest wifi driver directly from Intel resolves the problem.

 

If not, if you can return the PC, I would do so.

Hello. Thanks for the swift reply. I installed the new driver (22.70.0.61, August 25, 2021) but nothing changes: same errors.

Once again let me repeat that this notebook was unpacked TODAY a few hours ago. I bought it on the hp.com web site and received it at home.

How can I get it repaired?

I'm frustrated....
