Sometimes it hides for even days which creates problems in my daily schedule as I have to do a lot of works from it.

Hello 5CD311DT97,

Thank you for posting your concern,

If the WiFi option on your HP printer is not showing or becomes intermittently unavailable, it can indeed disrupt your workflow. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check the Basics

  1. Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it, wait for about a minute, plug it back in, and then turn it on again.

  2. Restart the Router: Sometimes, network issues can be resolved by restarting your router.

  3. Check Connections: Make sure that all network cables are connected securely between your printer, router, and any other networking equipment.

Verify Network Settings

  1. Printer Settings: Access your printer’s control panel menu and check the network or wireless settings to ensure WiFi is enabled.

  2. Manual Connection: Try to manually connect the printer to your WiFi network by entering the network name (SSID) and password.

Update Firmware/Drivers

  1. Firmware Update: Make sure that your printer firmware is up to date. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP Support website.

  2. Driver Update: Updating your HP printer drivers on your computer can sometimes fix connectivity issues.

Check for Interference

  1. Distance and Obstacles: Ensure that your printer is within range of your wireless router and there are no obstructions or electronic devices causing interference.

Additional Troubleshooting

  1. HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, which can diagnose and fix many issues related to network connectivity.

  2. Reset Network Settings: On your printer’s control panel, you can reset network settings to their default values and try connecting to the network again.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact HP Support for more personalized assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting based on your printer model and network environment.

For detailed support, you can always reach out to HP through their official support site.
