How to clear down the WiFi link so a new network can be attached

Hi @Sjc188

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand you’d like to clear the current Wi‑Fi link so the printer can be connected to a new network. Thank you for raising this—it’s a common step when moving to a different router or service, and it helps to know what you’ve already tried so far.

To guide you properly, could you share a few details:

  • Which exact printer model are you using?
  • Are you connecting it with a computer or a phone, and which operating system is installed?
  • Has there been any recent change in your router or internet service?
  • On the printer itself, is the wireless light blinking or steady?

Once I have this context, I can provide the precise HP steps to clear the saved Wi‑Fi configuration and attach the printer to the new network.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
