Hi @TheLostUser,

Thank you for the response.

Attempt BIOS Recovery

  • Touch + Sight: Press the Windows + B keys together while holding the power button for about 2-3 seconds, then release the power button but keep holding the keys.
  • If successful, the laptop may beep, and you will see a BIOS recovery screen.
  • Follow the prompts to recover or reset the BIOS.
  • You may also refer to this document.

Let me know if it helped.

Best regards,

I'm an HP Employee.

Hello،

Thank you so much for your response.

I sid exactly what you suggested and got a BIOS recovery.

The WiFi worked for 2 min and then stopped again while the Bluetooth is still active.

Could you guide me how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Hi,

Thank you for getting back.

Let's try testing in Safe Mode with Networking

This isolates third‑party software conflicts.

  • Power off the laptop completely.
  • Turn it on and press F11 repeatedly to enter the Windows Recovery Environment.
  • Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • After restart, press F4 to enter Safe Mode.
  • Check if Wi‑Fi stays stable in Safe Mode

If yes, a background app or service is interfering.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics Again

  • Confirm if the wireless module itself is failing.
  • Power off your computer, turn it on, and immediately press Esc repeatedly.
  • Then press F2 to enter the hardware diagnostics menu.
  • Navigate to Component Tests > Network > Wireless Module Test, and select Run once
  • If it fails, the Wi‑Fi card is defective and needs replacement

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

I'm an HP Employee.

Hi There,

I previously changed the wifi adapter which didn't help.

Also in safe mode, the network is not up, even for a second.

Is there a service center to check such issue?

Thanks
