First off we need to diagnose correctly if the issue is hardware or software related.

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • When did this first begin?
  • Were any hardware changes made like changing the router or modem?
  • Did it start after any software or app update? (windows, HP, or other apps like security apps)

If none of these work please use a wired Ethernet cable and update the bios, chipset and Wi-Fi drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers  which are relevant to your computer.
