Wifi Card Upgrade

Hi 

I want to upgrade the wifi card in my HP Pavillion laptop to wifi 6 but i don't know which wifi card to choose. I have an 8th gen i5 intel processor. and currently Intel Model 3168ngw wifi card is installed in my pc.

Since you must have a pretty old notebook, try this model which should work with either an Intel or AMD processor.

Thanks for the information. I would also request you to please let me know which RAM shall i use to expand my laptop memory. Attached picture of the ram installed on my laptop.

Hi,

Yesterday i went to a computer repair store, they told me that Intel Wifi Card AX201NGW will also work and only this card is available right now. please advice if i can use this card instead of AX200.

Hi:

The Intel AX201 Wi-Fi card will absolutely not work in your notebook.

The AX201 will only work if your notebook originally came with one, which it didn't.

The cards listed at the link below will not work in your notebook.

You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
