Hi I've a problem with my Notebook: when the notebook goes in sleep mode (Hybernation is almost disabled) the Wifi card disappears and the only way to use the Wifi is to restart the notebook.
Every driver was updated via HP support assistant, Windows update and AMD Software Radeon.
In the image you can see that the Realtek card disappeared: there's not option for that in the Bios or in Power Plan.
These are some settings avaible... But I don't know what can be the cause... Settings
Please Help.
Thanks

Hi:
All I can say is the RTL8822CE wifi adapter is nothing but trouble.
I have no idea why HP continues to use the Realtek wifi adapters in their notebooks.
I have the same model series as yours but mine has the Intel AX200 wifi card and it works fine.
What driver version do you have installed?
There is a newer version that you may not be finding...
2024.0.10.221

If you continue to have problems, you may want to replace that awful card with the one that is in mine...
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005.
You can buy it directly from HP...27.65 Euros.

Below is the link to the service manual...

Thanks. I'll try the update and I'll keep you updated... I didn't wanted to spend more money on this notebook because i almost wanted to upgrade the RAM to 20 Gb this Year... (is it true that i can upgrade the notebook without invalidating the warranty?)
The Card works great... But it just disappears every time the PC goes into sleep mode 😢. I'll keep you updated if this driver fixes the problem! 🤗

You're very welcome.
Since I don't work for or represent HP, unfortunately I can't say whether or not the warranty would be voided.
Generally speaking, you won't void the warranty unless you break something in the process of upgrading the memory.

Thank you very much. I wanted confirmation, because I had already asked an HP technician if it could be done and he said yes.
I've tried the driver and now it looks like the card is working perfectly, it disconnected once from wifi after hours of Stand By, but the device didn't disappear (so I only had to reconnect to the Wifi without rebooting the device), 🙂
I will open another post if there are still problems. In the meantime, I'll save your driver. Thank you very much!!!
Now My only issues with this laptop are the fans (they still make that whistling sound, but HP almost added newer fans one time, so probably it's an issue of the grills behind... The're not loud, so I'll take it... Still not a good sound to hear...).
Thank you very Much 🤗. Also, sorry for my bad English... I'm from Italy, so it's not my main lauguage...

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
Your English is just fine.
Better than my Italian.
I know some, because my grandparents on my mother's side of the family were from Sicily, and taught me some Italian.
