HP Stream

Hi, I bought this HP Stream yesterday and it doesnt matter which WIFI connection I am using (I have tried 3), after ten minutes or so, my internet slows down and then turns off. It does not automatically reconnect so I need to go in and do it. I havent even had it for 24 hours and Im already sick of it. I tried this tip Go to Device manager > select the WIFI drivers under network adapter> Right click go to properties > Under properties go to Power Management Tab> Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". If the issue persists, continue with the below steps: ... Click Network and Internet

but my laptop did not have WIFI drivers option in the Device Manager. I tried to troubleshoot using help from the HP community but it still isnt working. I cannot see a WIFI button on my keyboard.

Please help, its driving me nuts

Have you tried:

1) Restarting your router

2) Running the Windows Network Diagnostics troubleshooter (right click WiFi icon on the taskbar and click troubleshoot problems)

3) Updating your network adapters. Go to Device Manager, open the Network adapters drop down and right click an adapter. Click update driver and then the automatic option. Repeat for the rest of your network adapters.

Try these tips. If that fails, reply and I will give more advanced suggestions.
