Hi, I upgraded to windows 10 and now of course my WiFi mobile mouse does not work. I assumed that a driver would be provided soon after Windows 10 release, but none have been, as it appears forthcoming. Should I sell my WiFi mouse or do I wait for the drivers? I know SoftAP is available in Windows 10, so what's the hold up?

There haven't been any drivers update for windows 8 so I'm guessing there won't be one for windows 10
I'm having the same problem and getting desperate.

After update to windows 10 my HP Wifi mobile didn't function. I have deinstalled my mouse driver (V2.3)
Then updated my wifi driver (in my case intel dual band wireless-AC 3160)
Reinstalled the same (and latest version) mouse driver.
And it works again.
I hope this will help you.

Solved? For so few...
I have a, MSI powered, VIT P2400, with a Qualcomm Atheros AR1111 WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter.
I was enjoing my Wifi Mouse, untill I have the bright idea of updating to Windows 10 64-bit. Since then, I'd been walking thru the streets of bitter, as my Mobile Mouse Monitor tells me that it sees my mouse bat can't pair with it.
I've read, here, that some solutions came available from intel -for their intel WNAs-, and some others just "poped-in" ¿¿¿??? with a solution for their mouses.
That -as you might suspect by now- hasn't been my case. I'm still waiting for HP to come out with any solution for THE REST OF US who have not been gracefully provided with an intel WNA, by our computer's manufacturer.
REDMOND you're invited too... Don't be shy... HP is not the only one with brains -I hope-.

Hey my Wifi Mouse was working fine on Windows 10 - yesterday they had a new update - which got installed & now the mouse is not working.
Have tried uninstalling & updating the Wifi driver - then installed the HP mouse suite again - but alas not working - it pairs but doesn't show up & connect.
Is there anyway i can start to use it again...

Hi @trosun2000,
Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. 🙂 I reviewed the post regarding wifi mouse issues after a Windows 10 update. I will be delighted to assist you here. 🙂
Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂 You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you with it. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂
To assist you accurately I would require more information regarding this?
- Is this an HP wireless mouse?
- Did you try it on a different computer and check if it works?
- Have you changed the batteries on it and checked if it works?
- Please provide the complete model# of the wireless mouse if it an HP mouse.
For now if it an HP mouse please perform these steps:
- Please connect the mouse and the USB dongle to another notebook or desktop and check if it works there.
- If it does not, then replace the batteries, pair it and check again. This way we could isolate the issue to being hardware or software related.
- If the mouse does not work on another computer then it needs to be replaced as it has a hardware issue.
- If it works on a different computer, then try the steps from the link mentioned below.
For further assistance please follow all the troubleshooting steps relating to the mouse from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00006821 and check if the issue gets resolved. Please perform all the prescribed steps.
- Wireless mouse or keyboard does not work.
- Also, uninstall the mouse drivers from device manager by performing these steps.
- Right-click on start> left click on device manager>Expand Mice and other pointing devices> uninstall all the mouse drivers and restart the computer.
- Then check if it gets fixed.
- Also, check this link out for further assistance: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-z3600-wireless-mouse/5407076/drivers it could be helpful.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.
Take care now and have a terrific week ahead. 🙂

Dear,
I have the same problem. The HP pàiring wizard saids me "SoftAp is not avilable". My computer is new and works with windows 10.
I have an HP Wi-Fi mobile mouse, not a bluetooth one.
I can't try if it works in another computer, it is the Pairing wizard that does not work, I have not the chance to star the connection.

I have updated my wifi controler.
