Since this morning wifi and bluetooth had stopped to work. I can only connect by ethernet or via usb with my tablet. I haven't done anything before this problem happened (just played some video game 4h hour ago before shutting down the pc)
The wifi and bluetooth drivers doesn't show up in the "paramètres de périphériques" (i don't know its name in english). Also the light that show up that wifi is up is orange like if my pc was on plane mode instead of being blue when i m connected on wifi (switching out to plane mode doesn't change the color) I tried to reinstall all the drivers via "drivers cloud" or "hp recovery" but this hadn't worked. I also tried to launch the pc on minimal mode but wifi and bluetooth were still not working.
Hope to be helped the earliest possible and sry for overwhelming you in this period of quarantine.

@Luxraider
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
BIOS default:
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Most notebook computers have a button or keyboard key to turn the wireless signal on and off. Check the button or key status to confirm if the wireless signal is on.
Locate the wireless key or button. This could be an image of an airplane or a wireless signal.
Button or key
Description
A standalone button with an airplane. This enables or disables “airplane mode” and turns off wireless and Bluetooth on the device.
F12 key with an airplane. This enables or disables “airplane mode” and turns off wireless and Bluetooth on the device.
F12 key with wireless icon and LED. This enables or disables "wireless mode." The LED illuminates in white or blue if active, and amber if wireless is turned off.
A standalone wireless button. This is typically located above or near the keyboard.
Press the button once, wait 10 seconds, and then observe any changes to the wireless connection icon in the notification area and to the LED light on the wireless button or key.
If the button or key does not have a light, hover your mouse over the wireless connection icon in the notification area of the taskbar to see the current connection status.
If the wireless signal is turned on, try connecting to the Internet again.
If the wireless signal is turned off, press the button or key again to turn it back on, and then try connecting to the Internet again.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello,
my daughter computer as the same problem. Around the same date, she watch a movie on netflix and the morning after, the wifi card was "not present" in the computer. A orange light is showing for the wifi, as if it was in plane mode. I tried a lot of option: BIOS and Firmware uptdate, Ethernet update and even installing windows 10 (all with the help of my laptop). Nothing seems to work. On HP site, i install HP PC Hardware diagnostic and every thing seems fine. I dont know what to do. The long scan indicate that i dont have a wifi card !!!
I find it hard to believe that two same laptop have the same problem on the same day. Could it be a COVID computer related virus? Just joking. Can HP or someone else help me?
My daughter computer is a HP PAVILION 15 with AMD A10-5745M.
Thanks

i have tried all the methode below beofre but it hadn t worked. After using a traditionnal methode named "beating up the wireless card emplacement it miraculously worked. I think the problem came from the overheating of the pc which occured a disconnect of the wireless card from the pc. The problem didn t seem to be a software problem but a hardware one

(it s just a purely amateur advice)
Try to check out the wireless card connection (try to beating it a little, just a little btw... or check out how to open up ure pc and replace the wireless card, if u re a handy man)
ure son can use this methode to temporary use his laptop to watch series using a phone or a tablet https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/tethering-use-mobile-internet-pc/ (he won t have an as good connection as before but it s better than nothing)

Thank you for posting back.
Wireless Module test:
Use the following steps to open the Component Tests menu.
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests.
- The Component Tests menu displays.
- Wireless Module Test - This test checks that the BIOS detects the wireless module and that it is enabled.
To run the test, click the Wireless Module, and then click Run once.
- The Wireless Module Test takes 30 seconds to complete.
If the test passes, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
