Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
- What is the operating system?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

My computer is a HP Notebook - 17t-by000 CTO. The product number is 3JS78AV. I currently have the realtek rtl8822be 802.11ac pcie adapter installed. I'm using Windows 10. What are my options and what is the best wifi network adapter?

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have One M.2 slot for WLAN installed on the PC.
Check the below information on WLAN adapter upgrade:

Thank you for your quick response! Do you know why the wifi adapter installed keeps disconnecting from the internet? I updated the wifi drive, had a BIOS update, and a complete sysem wipe out but nothing fixed the issue. I recently added a USB wifi adapter and it hasn't dropped once.

To get the answer to this question, it could be due to several possible reasons. If all devices on your network have the same problem with the Internet it is likely an issue with the cable or DSL modem, network router, or ISP.
As you've performed relevant troubleshooting steps and the issue persists, it could be an issue with the network adapter.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

It appears it's the network adapter. I purchased a USB wireless adapter and the connection no longer drops. Since my computer is covered under warranty who do I need to talk to in order to get the Realtek RLT8822BE replacement adapter sent out to me?
