Wifi connect issues

HP Recommended
Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been trying to run my laptop off my android hotspot. I also have my printer hooked up with ethernet because I cant find the cord. I am running windows 10 64 bit.

The problem started off with "ethernet doesnt have valid IP address."

Troubleshooter couldn't identify the problem.

This is some other info I have gathered; TPV 6 connectivity; no network access

Then when I couldn't get hotspot to work I tried USB and didn't get anywhere with that either.

Here are some of those findings;  this info I got in details when I went on device manager;USB network address.

Intel Dual Band wireless-AC 3165 needs further installation

Remote NDIS based internet sharing device; requires further installation

Realtek PCIe FE family controller; requires further installation

I'm sorry if this is too much info or not enough info. I have been trying to figure this out on my own for 2 days. I have very important paperwork on this laptop that has to be printed out before 6/6/20

Prego.

What I did not say was to connect you usually need several values....

Eth IPv4.png

So the PC and Printer need to be on the same network IP range as the AHS (Android HotSpot) either automatically assigned or manually set by yourself.

The subnet mask is also to match the AHS.

The Default Gateway is most likely the IP address of the AHS.

If in doubt please ask.
