Product Name : HP Pavilion Laptop 14-dv2014TU
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
My laptop is not able to connect to wifi with weak signal. When I try to connect, it is showing Can't connect to this network. Other laptops are able to connect to the same wifi without any problem. I am able to connect to mobile hotspot, that too from a nearby range, but I have trouble connecting to my college wifi. Sometimes I am able to connect the college wifi but after 10 minutes it is disconnecting automatically. I tried troubleshooting the problem and it showed that there is problem with network adapter. I tried to reset and update the drivers but no use. My laptop is new and I have this problem since day 1. Please help me with this issue

Hi:
There is a newer Mediatek driver for the card than what is on the support page for your notebook:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp149501-150000/sp149886.exe
- Adds the 6G Only option to WLAN card / Advanced / Band selection in Device Manager.
- Includes the following drivers:
MT7921 Driver, version 3.0.1.1307
MT7922 Driver, version 3.3.0.852
MT7902 Driver, version 3.3.0.852
MT7925 Driver, version 0.3.0.1110
If your notebook continuously has a weak Wi-Fi signal even when close to a router, it may be possible that one of the internal antenna wires is disconnected from the card.
