I installed hp wireless assistant to switch on my wifi. It says device manager has disabled my laptop's wifi.
But there's no option in the device manager to enable it(I tried to enable it after seeing a youtube video, did not work).
My laptop has windows ultimate 64-bit.

Hello
Please right click on unknown devices and uninstall existing drivers from the PC.
Install below drivers for bluetooth controller drivers:-
Install below drivers for network controller drivers:-
After installing, restart the PC

Welcome to Forum !!
Was WIFI working before installing HP support Assistant ?
Do you see any unknown devices in the device manager, if yes provide the DEV and VEN ID by going to properties

The devices under "other devices" read :- "the driver for this device are not installed"
This includes:-
blutooth controller
network controller
PCI device
Universal Serial Bus(USB) controller
SM bus controller
when I tried to update them it says wndows could not find the driver software for your device

First Uninstall other wireless driver previously installed in your notebook from the device manager.
Then download and install following driver
The MediaTek (Ralink) 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Adapter Driver for Hp 250 G3 is below.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71525.exe
