HP Recommended

I have an HP 15 dy2046.  There are 2 problems that I notice, one of which is a big problem for me.

1. (the smaller problem) The computer disconnects from my wifi randomly a few times a day,  I can simply reconnect, but it can be annoying because it breaks a connection to a platform I work on and this costs me time and sometimes money.

2.  (the big problem that makes me think I will never buy another HP product)  If I am not using the laptop for a few minutes it may disconnect from the internet.  Then it does not show options at all for reconnecting to wifi (there is no icon for wifi connections).  I am forced to restart the computer every time.  It has happened 3 or 4 times today.  I keep setting "never" on power saving settings but after a couple weeks or so I find my settings have been changed back (again, again, again).  I do this because I have read that the computer is choosing to do this to save on power.  I have seen several videos showing how to change this power saving option on the driver, BUT this option does not show up on my computer anywhere.  I keep losing money because of this, which of course means that this computer is a bad tool.  Certainly, HP is aware of this from other people by now, so when is HP going to fix this?  How can I fix it.  I am going to try a new idea, which is to start a youtube playlist when I walk away from the computer, hoping that it will keep the wifi active so the piece of sh__ doesn't cost me more money.  So, is there a real fix for this, or not?
