You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. I have reviewed the situation and it is paramount that we address your issue. Thank you for giving us the privilege to assist you on this platform.
For better clarity and to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this.
- Did you check in device manager to find if the driver was missing for the wireless card?
- How did this happen? Did a software or windows update cause this?
- When did it last work correctly?
- Please provide the complete model# or product# of the computer.
- Does it work on a hard wired Ethernet connection?
For starters, please perform these steps.
Please use a hard wired Ethernet cable and connect to the internet.
If it works fine, please visit this link: http://hp.com/drivers to download and install the wireless driver. Please select the country and type the product# of the unit. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
Also please check this link out for wireless troubleshooting for windows 7: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02543015
