Hi there!
I have recently been having some problems with my wifi driver because it was disabling itself every 20 minutes. When I did network diagnostics, it said that there was something wrong with the wifi adapter and/or the motherboard?? So I thought that reinstalling the wifi adapter would fix the problem. I thought it would be ok because I've done it multiple times with bluetooth drivers but i was mistaken. Even after multiple restarts, network resets, and using the device manager to check for hardware changes, my computer does not reinstall the wifi. If I click on my wifi shortcut, it says Explorer exe wifi cannot be found. Also, my computer seems to have lost its bluetooth capabilities(even though I did not touch the bluetooth driver???) It says that my computer doesn't support miracast anymore.
I have checked the hp website and downloaded all 5 of the network drivers as well as visited multiple forums but that doesn't seem to help. Could someone please give me the link to the proper driver for my computer? Please help me! I need to squeeze 1 more year out of this laptop.Thank you so much! After this I will not be going anywhere near device manager(lol)
Btw, I still have internet because I am using ethernet connection but that is not a permanent solution of course.
