Hi,

First time I am in this forum due to facing intermittent wifi issue . Some time it is connecting & sometime not & while connected sometime unable to open any webpage. My observation : WLAN card overheated  . Please help

TS Steps:

1.Hard Reset

2. Uninstall & reinstalled Wifi driver (Mediatek 5.0.37.0 REV:B , 13-12-2013)

3. Uninstall & Install Intel Chipset driver( Ver:9.3.0.1025 REV:A,22-9-2012)

3.BIOS updated(insyde F.27, 12-9-2016)

4. Load BIOS in Default seetings.

5. Refix WLAN card

6. OS reinstalled(Windows 8 64 bit)

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver for that wireless card.

 

If that doesn't help any, and you believe the wlan card has overheated, then the wireless chip has probably been damaged.

 

This package contains the driver installation package for the Ralink wireless LAN Controllers in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system. 

 

VERSION: 5.0.56.0
