troubleshoot.png20220828_220027_HDR.jpgHello, I have a HP Pavilion g6-1b60us.  The wifi is not working on this laptop.  There is a orange light on the wifi symbol on the keyboard under f12.  When I hit fn and f12 nothing happens.  I took a screenshot of device manager if this helps.  I am unable to find wifi drivers for this laptop?  Please help! have been googling for some time for help on this but have not found a solution.  I also took battery out of laptop and held power button for 30 seconds as suggested by another post.

(See attached screenshot)

Thanks!

Hi:

The Ralink Wifi adapter does not work with the latest builds of W10.

It completely disappears from the device manager.

There is no fix other than to go back to W7 or use a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

Since your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents the installation of any other model Wi-Fi adapter from working, replacing the internal Wi-Fi card is not possible.

The PCI device is the Realtek SD card reader that needs a driver.

See if this W10 driver works for you:
