Hi @roger-2025,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Device Manager

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Network adapters section and check if the Wi-Fi adapter is listed.

Restart the Computer

  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve hardware detection issues.
  • Restart your laptop and check if the Wi-Fi card appears in Device Manager.

Update Drivers

  • Visit the HP Support website and navigate to the drivers and software section for your HP 17 Laptop PC 17-c2000 model.
  • Download and install the latest network drivers for Windows 11.

Windows Update

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  • Install any pending updates, as they may include fixes for hardware compatibility.

Check BIOS Settings

  • Restart your laptop and enter BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F10, Esc, or Delete during startup).
  • Check if the Wi-Fi card is enabled in the BIOS. If it is disabled, enable it.

Run Network Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click on Network troubleshooter to diagnose and fix network issues.

Reset Network Settings

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Scroll down and click on Network reset, then follow the prompts to reset your network settings.

I hope this helps.
