HP Notebook - 14-dk0002dx

I dropped my laptop about a 1.5ft on to a carpeted floor. Everything seemed ok except my wifi sensitivity has decreased to the point where I have to place the laptop within a ft of router or use phone as hotspot within a ft of where I think the antenna is located within laptop.

Intuition tells me that the antenna may have physically broken.

Thanks but all drivers have updated. Since I immediately lost sensitivity after a short drop onto a carpeted floor, I am thinking that my problem is a broken antenna, (antenna wire?). Don't know if I should tackle partial disassembly to look for said problem. I have replaced a screen in a laptop before. (It's still working several yrs later, lol.)

Thanks again,

PsyMike
