Hi there,

I want to upgrade my wifi card from original BCM943142HM to intel dual ac 7260HMW, but i am not sure if it’s compatible.

my laptop model is HP 15 Pavilion 15-p112ne

Hi:

 

Here's the problem you may have:

 

I believe that your notebook only has one Wi-Fi antenna wire connected to the Broadcom Wi-Fi card and the Intel card you want to install requires two antenna wires in order to work properly.

 

With only one antenna wire, the card will not get the proper reception it needs.

 

But if your notebook has two antenna wires attached to the Broadcom card, the Intel card you posted should work fine.
