Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My laptop's Wifi (Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter ) won't show my network in the available networks, i can see other netwworks but not mine. I have reseted my router and can connect to it via my mobile and/or on my family members laptop so there is no issue with the wifi network just that it won't show on my laptop.

I have uninstalled the wifi adapter and checked for latetest driver update. Any assistance? My laptop is HP Pavilion 15 Notebook

It is now working. All i did was changed the channel for the 2.4GHz on my wifi router as it was set on Auto previously.

It only supports 2.4GHz networks and your network is a 5.0GHz network, therefore all you need to do: allow your wifi router to broadcast dual band (ie both bands) which are 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.

My wifi network does broadcast dual brands 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz and both are enabled. On my mobile and on another laptop i can connect to both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. There wasn't any issue just up until this morning where my network is not showing
