Hello Support,

My basically new laptop has just started having problems connecting to the internet while the other laptops are fine.  It seems the issue is with the Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter.  Not sure how to fix yet.  Any help appreciated.

Thanks

You're very welcome.

Use another PC.

Download the driver to that PC and copy it to a USB flash drive.

Plug the flash drive into your notebook's USB port and you can either double click on the file and run it from the flash drive to install the driver, or copy and paste the file to your notebook's desktop and run it from there.

it tends to run a bit faster if you install it from the notebook itself rather than the flash drive.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Wi-Fi driver to the latest version if you have not done so already.

Thanks for the link but on the computer with issues I can't download it.  Is there a set of instructions I can access and then work with on the 'problem laptop'?

Thanks again.

Looks like that did the trick.  Thanks again.
