Windows 11 seems to be blocking public wifi

NEW  HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (31R08AV). Public Wifi sites do not appear in list of available connections.

Support had me update drivers while at home. Now that i am back at the public wifi  location, I note that the "fixes" do not help.

Two other Windows 10 laptops work fine, but not the  new Windows 11 machine.

Now support wants me to uninstall 11  and install 10!

Isn't this like puttting a piece of Gaffers tape over the "Check Engine" light? Ib was forced to buy this machine with Windoz 11,Darn it, It should work!

(3) Reboot and test again ... deactivate Flight mode if it's enabled ✈️

Thanks for response.

 All drivers are up to date. I retried at the offending public wifi(Hospital).

HP windows 10 laptops(2 of them) 3-5 years old find and connect to it.

This new HP W 11 laptop still cannot find the same public wifi.

I tried manually adding, but it still cannot find.

Only differnece I see between the machines is this new one is wifi 6 capable.

(3) Reboot and test again ...
