HP ENVY dv7-7233nr Notebook PC

Hello I just did a downgrade to windows 7 on my HP ENVY dv7-7233nr Notebook PC and I can’t connect to the internet it is saying I need a driver for my network adapter. I have been looking everywhere for this driver and can not find it, does anyone have a link to one?

Hi:

 

You can use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from the dv6z-7000 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

The specific wifi driver you need is this one according to the parts list for your notebook...

 

This package provides the driver to support the Atheros Wireless LAN adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56501-57000/sp56572.exe

 

You will also need to install the AMD chipset driver from the link below.

 

Select the W10/W7 driver, install and restart the PC.  That will install the USB 3 controller drivers.
