I have downgraded the OS from windows 8 to windows 7 and while doing so everything installed except the network adapter. Wifi adapter is not found under network adapters. Please help me solve this issue

You're very welcome.
If the Broadcom wifi adapter is working properly as reported in the device manager>Broadcom wifi adapter>General tab, then the only suggestion I can offer would be to see if pressing the F12 key turns the wifi radio on.
The F12 key is the one with the airplane icon.

Hi:
Go to the device manager and post the hardware ID for the device you see listed there labeled as a Network Controller.
That is the name of the wifi adapter when the driver is missing.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

Hi paul,
Thanks for the response. Now the network drivers are installed. But still I am not able to connect to Wi-Fi. 'No connection are available. Troubleshoot' is displayed in the Open network and sharing center. Kindly help me with this.
