What you’ll need to fax with Windows Fax and Scan
- A computer running Windows Fax and Scan
- A landline phone line (VoIP will not work)

- A phone cord (to connect the modem to the phone line)
- A document to test the fax with
Based on the little time I have invested in the subject, I have decided that implementing a "nontraditional setup" Fax is a bit more convoluted than simply purchasing a printer that includes fax, using Mobile Fax, or signing up for eFax service. Personal opinion.
