The issue is windows is unable to find Bluetooth devices to connect to.
I was able to install the Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth driver but when I try to install the Realtek Motorola BC8 Bluetooth 3.0+HS Driver, I am greeted with the message `bluetooth hardware must be switched on to run this package`.
I also tried the method given in this thread [link] . But all in vain.
The thing is this laptop belongs to one of my relatives and I am trying to fix this remotely. I am really close to pulling my hairs out. Please any help would be appreciated.

Hi:
The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and 2070 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR combination adapter.
So, the only Bluetooth driver that is going to work would be the Broadcom Bluetooth driver.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if a newer version of the Broadcom Bluetooth driver works for you.
This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver and software for supported models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 devices and is compatible with Broadcom Bluetooth 3.0 and earlier versions.

Thank you for the quick response. I tried installing the provided drivers but I still get nothing while searching for bluetooth devices.
I also removed all the earlier drivers that I installed before installing this, but I still get nothing :
Is there anything I might be missing ?

You're very welcome.
The only other suggestion I can offer would be to make sure that you have elected to make your PC discoverable for Bluetooth in W7.
How to Set Up Bluetooth for a Windows 7 PC (makeuseof.com)
If you have done that already, then watch this video and see if the steps in the video resolve the problem.
