Hello, I bought a laptop (hp-bk052sa) which had windows 10 installed, but i reinstalled it to windows 7 because of reasons, and now it seems like the laptop cannot find wireless networks. I checked device manager > network adapters and it seems like the laptop is missing some Wi-Fi drivers; I checked around these forums and the general consensus seems to be that some particular models don't necessarily support drivers for Windows 7. Maybe it's possible to, somehow, install drivers meant for other models and they would still work ?

Hi:
If the wireless network adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the Device Manager labeled as a Network Controller. Please post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device, so I can figure out what model wifi adapter your notebook has.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
