HP Envy laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows update was done on 09/09/2020 disabled my network adapters and I cannot get them reconnected. I uninstalled the update, reset the adaptors, and still cannot get the adaptors to be discovered.  My system was working great on WIFI and all of a sudden I lost it, which was well after the reboot. Help me fix this! This happened before and I had to do something and can't recall. It was a setting that was selected somewhere and I had to deselect it.

@San033

I reviewed your post and I understand that the wireless connection is not working after a Windows update.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you uninstall the wireless card driver from the device manager and check whether the issue is resolved.

Here is how it done.

1. Download the drivers from here but do not run them yet.

2. Go to your start screen/menu and type Device Manager.

3. Expand Network adapters.

4. Right click on the wireless adapter and choose Uninstall.

5. Run the downloaded drivers from step 1.

6. Restart your PC and test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
