The wireless card may have been dislodged by the fall. Open the cover on bottom and check to be sure it is plugged in securely.

If you need the Service Manual to determine how to get to wireless card post "full" Model or Product number of your Envy.

Hi

Yes, in addition to CherylG, I would suggest putting the Laptop as close as possible to the router.

The card may be dislodged, the antennae/aerial may be loose or broken.  You should open the case and check.

Kinda weird, I did open the device, and I found the wireless tiny card, but it was well tight and screw and tight, anways I decided to unscrew it and take it off, I did,  but some how I broke one of the antenna lines (Main) maybe it was loose, then I put everything back together, now just with  AUX conection and I just placed the main cable where no short circuit could be caused,  now wireless is working again, maybe  now I'll only have just half of reception, but is working good so far.

is the performace reception is going to be the same ? or just half..

Thanks for your support !!
