Hello
I need help to know the reason that why the Wireless button is not working, means that whenever I push it, only bluetooth is turning on and off, but not wifi connection.
My system is:
Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise
Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
System Model HP ProBook 450 G3
BIOS Version/Date HP N78 Ver. 01.17, 6/8/2017
SMBIOS Version 2.7
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.1.7601.17514"
But by now I have this issue regarding drivers:
Bluetooth Peripheral Device BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB}_VID&00010075_PID&0100\7&25FE8A1D&0&849866CFE182_C00000000 The drivers for this device are not installed.
So, by now I have 2 issue.
1. Wireless button is not working, I need to manually connect and disconnet the wifi from task bar.
2. Missing Bluetooth driver, despite I could install some of them, but remains another missing drivers.
Yes, I downgraded win10 to win7, but almost I could install all drivers and make functional my laptop, but despite some efforts made, I couldn't install the missing drivers for BT, and by the way, the wireless button is not working.
Thanks in advance your help.

Connectivity issues for wireless and or Bluetooth on HP laptops has increased recently. Here are some useful steps that may restore the Windows 10 control panel features to work properly and restore connectivity
Recommend you do a right-click on the network icon and select network troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.
If the issue persists, install the wireless driver from this link. link

Go to Device manager > select the WIFI drivers under network adapter> Right click go to properties > Under properties go to Power Management Tab> Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

1. Those drivers that you suggested, did not help me.
2. Unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" just like you said did not work also, despite to the very first time allow to me to turn off and on the wireless connection, anyway the color of the button never changed, always is in white or ambar.
I'm still have the missing driver.
looks like these brand of computer are very faulty, I could not find any idea or solution in my case.
thanks anyway, let me know if you have new ideas waht else can I do about it.

And for updating the drivers, you can go to device manager in your PC> click on Network adapters>
or or in your case: the Bluetooth listed under other
Right click on corresponding wifi adapter> click on UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE. And after this, the dialogue box which would pop out, select SEARCH AUTOMATICALLY FOR DRIVER SOFTWARE option to proceed.
That's how it goes about:

None of the fixes I'd found on the WEB to "wireless button not working" worked for me (for my HP DV6 laptop). My son who is tech support for a large school district suggested this:
"Try draining the capacitors:
- Unplug the laptop and remove the battery
- Depress the power button for 30 seconds then let it sit for an hour."He said he's "recovered" numerous HP laptops this way.I have no idea what this did, but it worked like a charm. My wireless and speaker buttons are once again working normally.

I also had a similar problem, the Bluetooth drivers would never work and I ended up buying a usb Bluetooth adapter. One day I was digging through my bios when I noticed the combo WiFi Bluetooth card chip version. I ended up googling that and found a Microsoft driver that didn’t match any I had installed. Downloaded and installed and voila. My internal Bluetooth and WiFi are working great.
For some reason the “search online for a updated driver” never worked.
