Hi:
According to chapter 3 of the service manual you can upgrade to this model wifi card...
Intel 9260 ac 2×2 + Bluetooth 5 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L16647-005
Intel cards must be non-vPro,or they will not work.
HP does not publish any information regarding what notebooks may have BIOS whitelists.
If you want to experiment with a better card than the 9260, then I recommend this one...
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 HP part # L35282-005.
You can find the above card on eBay. Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
