Example: Pavilion dv7-4080us
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Tried to install intel dual Band wireless ac card in my pavilion dv7-4080us. got a message on screen thie card is not supported. code Id. 702.  remove put in original reboot. So i put old card back in and restarted workedfine so while it's on I rmoved wireless card and put in new card and it worked fine but when i turned off laptop and back on i got not supported message. is there a updated bios for my laptop that has removed the whitelist. please respond if there is or not. my E-Mail Addr. is arucker1948@aol.com

Your machine was built around 2010, due to whitelist, you can't install wifi card new wirless card which is NOT on the list. And the list is on page 5 of the following manual

Option: You can use the some of the following adapters
