I need to find the correct wireless driver for my HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC (Windows 8 64bit).

All the above are present in my other devices category in device manager, I'm not exactly sure which one is responsible for Wireless.

 

Any help regarding this is much appreciated!

Hi:

 

You can try these drivers but if they don't work, you will need to connect via ethernet cable, do the required updates to W8 and then get the free upgrade to W8.1 from the Windows Store.

 

Network Controller:

 

Broadcom Wireless LAN drivers are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN adapter.

PCI Device:

 

Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file from the link below...first driver listed.

Hi Paul,

 

Thanks a bunch for your help! I knew it was a broadcom driver but couldn't find a proper one anywhere. The ones I found were for windows 7 and I got unsupported OS errors when I tried to install. The driver you provided worked like a charm! I just don't understand why this is not listed under drivers for hp pavilion 17 or anywhere else on hp site. Anyway, thanks again!
