Well guy's that doesnt work on windows 7 went to the mobility centre and diagnostics tells me that Wireless network button is turned off.

There are no options to turn on wireless in properties simply 8 selectons about 801.11  or auto after saving the system simply returns to the default which is auto.

I think something is fried on the mainboard thanks to the computer tech.

If your wireless  bright button light is on, then your wifi adapter card harware is working fine (Win 7, 64 bit).

Go to system manager.

open wifi .

Go to advanced setting.

uninsatall wireless driver.

restert your pc.

A new Driver will be installed Automatically .

No exclamation marks and says device is working properly, although this is checking the wireless card only and therefor will not pick up if the mainboard is not operating properly, wireless on button continues to glow orange further investigation just shows tha wireless is not turned on. I can only estimate that either the ribbon cable is not connected to the switch or the circuit is damaged technician assures me that he has connected the wireless swithch.
