I have the same issue and my model is HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC with Windows 10 Home Single Language 64-bit  OS.  I have been using wifi for the past three years but since the last 15 days i am experiencing difficulty in connecting wifi as I can connect to the internet via LAN and I have run the diaganostics and in the end, for the wireless module check it was mentioned as not installed.

@sakthi1990,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let's check if the Network adapter shows in hidden devices:

1. Right click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.

2. Click on view tab from top and click on Show hidden devices.

3. Now check if the wireless network adapter is showing up.

If you see the wireless adapter in the hidden devices, then click on it and update the driver and check.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
