Hi,
I have a HP ZBook17G2 and as soon as I plug in the Ethernet something disables the Wireless Radio.
I cannot enable it with the touch button and it's not showing up in control panel while the cable is plugged in.
I go into the BIOS, advanced menu, device configuration sub menu and disable the LAN-WLAN switching setting ، But the problem remains
Does anyone know how to Disable this annoying "Feature"

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer is this...
1. Go into the BIOS setup and make sure the LAN/WLAN switching setting is disabled.
The default setting is enabled because most folks use the notebook with either the LAN or the wifi but not both at the same time.
2. If the wifi still turns off when an ethernet cable is plugged in with the LAN/WLAN switching setting disabled...
Go to the Windows control panel>system & security>administrative tools> services.
Stop the "HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching UWP Service" and change the startup to manual.
Now both the WIFI and ETHERNET should work at the same time.
