The wireless adapter on my laptop was not working, so I decided to upgrade it to one that would work. The one I had was an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030. I had read online that it was not supported on Windows 10, so I looked online for an upgrade to the one I had. I bought an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (Model 7260HMW) thinking it would work. I installed it, but when I turned on the computer I got the message "Wireless Module not supported" and the laptop would not start. Is there a way to make this work or is there a different wireless adapter that I need to buy?

Your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which blocks the installation of any model Wi-Fi adapter but the one that came with your notebook.
If the Intel 1030 is not working on W10 anymore, you will have to use a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.
You might want to try the W10 driver for the Intel 1030 from the Microsoft Update catalog if you have not done so already.
2nd one on the list.
