Hi, @wmt9905
All of the dual band wifi adapters listed above require two antennas if you want the Bluetooth to work.
Since your notebook only has one antenna cable, you can do a direct swap for this dual band AC wifi card with Bluetooth...
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP Part # L17365-005.
That card has the same throughput as the RTL8188EE on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, and 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router...150 MBPS with a dual band N router.
Unfortunately, that card has been on back order for months at the HP Parts Store, but you can find several of them listed for sale on eBay.

Hi:
You can take a look at the service manual and see if you want to tackle the job.
It isn't easy.

As far as USB wifi adapters, I would suggest one of the nano size ones that don't stick out too far from the USB port.
Something like this...read the reviews.
