Looking for support help, will Wifi Module   AX411NGW   work in a Z2 G9 Workstation tower.  CPU I7 12 gen.

Seems notes on this computer indicate an AX211 module ( M.2. CNVIO2 ) is recommended. (pre-date AX411 ?)

The AX411NGW ( M.2.CNIO2 ) a little faster. The AX411 has very specific notes that the CPU must be 12/13th Gen CPU.

The connector on the Mother board appears to be for the AX211, which leads me to think the AX411NGW

will work.

All advice appreciated.

Hi:

Does the PC have a Wi-Fi card installed now?

If not, there are probably no antenna wires which would be required.

If there are no antenna wires, the easiest thing to do would be to install a desktop Wi-Fi kit that includes external antennas.

You can probably install the new Intel BE200 Wi-Fi 7 card and it is not CNVi, so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues.

If you want to stick with a 411AX it should work since the card is also CNVio 2.

HI. I have the same question as I have a Z2 G9 SFF with intel I7 13gen.Did you try what was proposed? Was it successfull?

Hi, I finally installed the following Intel Wifi 7 BE200NGW  kit on my Z2 G9 SFF  I7 13gen :

It was easy to install as cable connection were already made to the card and antenna connectors fitted in the holes made for external antennas.

If this can help others. 🙂

Regards,

Marc
