Is an ac wifi adapter card available for this model? My current adapter is a Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11bgn WI-FI Adapter.

Yes, there is one model AC adapter you can upgrade to since your notebook only has one antenna wire to connect to the card...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express. 

I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.

One more question for you. You gave me two different HP part numbers Do I look for the  915620-001 number only? Thanks.

Hi:

Either one would be fine.

If you look at some of the eBay listings, both part numbers appear on the card. 

L17365-005 is on the white HP part number sticker and 915620-001 is on the actual Wi-Fi card label.
